MOORESTOWN, NJ — Local business owner and candidate for Congress Bob Healey today announced he has been endorsed by Diane Allen, who retired in 2018 after a legendary tenure in the State Senate, where she was elected over and over again in a heavily Democratic district. Senator Allen was Jack Ciattarelli’s Lt. Governor candidate in 2021.

In offering a formal endorsement of Bob Healey’s congressional campaign, Diane Allen said:

“Bob Healey is a business owner, a father, a husband, and someone whose adult life has been dedicated to serving others, whether here in Burlington County where his foundation helps troubled teens through working with horses, or in West Africa, where he built hospitals and clinics aimed at improving healthcare for women and children,” said Senator Allen. “Bob’s unique background and perspective made him the perfect candidate to help heal the dysfunction in Washington and get our country moving in the right direction again.”

Allen, a resident of Edgewater Park, represented the 7th legislative district in the New Jersey Assembly from 1996 to 1998 and New Jersey Senate from 1998 to 2018.

“I am extremely honored to receive Diane Allen’s support.  Diane transitioned from a stellar career in journalism and broadcasting into a legendary career in the State Legislature, where she served with distinction and delivered results for her constituents,” said Healey. “The way Diane operated in Trenton is completely at odds with how Andy Kim operates in Washington.  Diane was a bipartisan champion who worked across the aisle to get things done, while Andy voted with Joe Biden 100% of the time, putting his party before his constituents. We deserve better.”
